"Christie Valdiserri has created a community that provides my family with powerful personal connections. My daughter sees herself in Christie and the children she has met. My daughter has participated in holiday parties, dance classes, spa days, and baking activities! As a mother, I feel seen and heard. I have participated in mama meet ups that could truly go on for hours. Christie asks thoughtful questions and provides support and strategies to help raise powerful children. Christie’s dedication to this community is unwavering and admirable. I am thrilled that my child will grow up with Christie as her role model!"

"...I've learned a lot from this lady in our short interactions. Thanks for teaching me the beauty of owning who you are, trying new things and feeling confident in my abilities. Enjoy her killer choreo and her being my personal hype girl for 45 seconds. If you don't know her name now you do, mark my words she's gonna change the world."

"Our event was AMAZING because of Christie! The confidence and energy she exuded over the microphone, undeniably had everyone enjoying themselves! She has a very special way of bringing out the best in people. We would definitely book her again and again and again!"

Christie Val: Biography at a Glance

Christie Valdiserri is a Sports Illustrated Model, Professional Dancer, and the Founder of The Baldtourage. Christie grew up in West Chester, PA but currently lives in Los Angeles, CA. Growing up, she was in a ballet company and then went on to pursue dance at Penn State University. Christie graduated with a BA in Theatre and took her talents to the Big Apple! Right before moving to NYC, Christie found a tiny bald patch on top of her head. Amidst moving to a new city and pursuing her dance career, Christie was diagnosed with alopecia as well. After booking her dream job on a cruise ship, she was fired within 6 weeks because she, “stood out,’“ and was forced to move back to PA. Personally Christie believes she was fired due to her hair loss, but the reason was never disclosed. Within weeks Christie lost ALL of her hair, but knew she could not let Alopecia dictate her career. So she glued on a wig and booked a one way flight to Los Angeles, CA. After hiding under a wig for about a year, she found the strength to share her story. To this day, Christie says, “that was THE BEST decision I’ve ever made!”. Christie firmly believes that the best version of herself came out after she shared her truth and is determined to help others feel the same way! In 2020, Christie was named the first bald Sports Illustrated Model and shortly after, she founded her company, The Baldtourage. Christie has shared her story on over 70 podcasts, at several college campuses, and even got to share it as a dancer on The Femuline World Tour with Todrick Hall! She has cultivated a very powerful, unique, accepting, empathetic, and of course, fun environment at The Baldtourage and is determined to give that same space to women outside of the hair loss community!
