Cameron Kinley is a United States Naval Academy graduate, a decorated athlete, and a motivational speaker who values initiative, accountability, and service.
While immersing himself in ethics, analytical thinking, and military tactics at the Naval Academy, Cameron served as Class President, making him just the 5th African American to hold this position and the first varsity football player to do so since at least 1991.In his senior season, Cameron was also elected as the team captain. For his achievements on and off the field, Cameron was named a finalist for the prestigious William V Campbell trophy, otherwise known as the “Academic Heisman”. Cam was commissioned as a Naval Intelligence Officer in the prestigious Information Warfare Community after graduating from the Naval Academy.
Prior to his current career path, Cameron got a chance to chase his NFL dreams. He signed as a free agent with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Initially denied a delayed commission, Cam went on a national media blitz before obtaining Presidential permission to sign as a free agent with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He competed for a spot in their 2021 training camp and was ultimately released.
Like a true warrior who does not flinch in the eye of a storm, Cam turned adversity into victory. He applied the leadership and mindset skills mastered at the United States Naval Academy to his situation. He navigated this setback as a setup to continue on his life’s mission of service, fueling his passion for empowering others.
Today, Cam is a much sought-after keynote speaker for Community Organizations, Colleges and leading brands to deliver powerful motivational messages mining his rich experiences while providing a salient call to action that audiences crave. Cameron equips each audience with mindset techniques to increase accountability and potential, overcome challenges, and ignite purpose.
